Senate is Back in Session - Health Care Policy is on the Agenda
The Senate convened for the second session of the 115th Congress.  The House returns next week.  Once both chambers are back, lawmakers will only have eight work days before the current spending agreement expires on January 19.  As part of a new spending agreement, Congress could include a long-term reauthorization of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and may address Medicare extenders and Affordable Care Act (ACA) stabilization legislation.  We will be closely monitoring these developments.
